About the register

On 1st March 2025 new Regulations came into force to help improve regulation of the funeral sector. As part of this, the Funeral Sector Register has been created by the Scottish Ministers.
Who should register?

All relevant bodies in the funeral sector such as burial authorities, cremation authorities, funeral directors etc. should register.
